Syncing - failed to assign return route

Post by Jim »

I'm new to Z-Wave. I am trying to add my first device. Indigo/Z-Wave stick seemed to find it during the inclusion process but fails on sync. Since the device was found during the inclusion process can I assume that the device is reachable and the problem lies somewhere else?

Thanks,
Jim

A couple of suggestions:
1) If the device is a simple plug-in or battery device, bring it to your z-stick and retry
2) Exclude the device and then re-include it.
Running Indigo 2023.2 on a 24" iMac M1), OS X 15.0

Thanks for the ideas. It is a all dimmer so no go on number one but will definitely try number two.
