Feedback

Post by george99 »

Has anyone figured out a way to get feedback in the touch app (control pages).

Specifically here is what I want.
I have an in-wall iPad that is dedicated to indigo. When motion is detected by my front door, I want it to automatically switch the camera view of my front door.
Any ideas?

The dynamic url plugin can sort of do this.

Otherwise, you need DomoPad on an android tablet.

Do you mean “dynamic control” plugin?
That looks like I might be able to work with it.

Was it called Dynamic control?

It's a plugin from Jay that turns the URL for an image into a variable, allowing actions to substitute different URLS into a Refreshing Image placeholder on a control page. This effectively creates the ability to have rotating images from cameras (or anywhere that is a url!)

I see in the plugin store dynamic control and another one called dynamic view control.
Neither of which looks like it is from Jay.

It's not a standard Indigo Plugin but something different.

Thanks. One question about it. Can I modify the width/height dynamically too? Meaning, I was thinking of putting a 1x1 pixel image on a control page, and if a camera detects motion, then show the camera image URL and change the width/height to 1024x768. Then back to 1x1 when I am done.
Really what I need now that I think about it as I am writing this, is just a way to set the width height dynamically. But either will work fine.
