Dimming Script or PlugIn

I am after a Z-Wave PlugIn or a script to enable me to dim through a range over a set time frame (example: be able to slowly dim a device from 100% to 10% over 1 hour)

Can anyone point me in the right direction? ... I vaguely recall seeing something a few years ago in these forums (or was it just a dream), I can't seem to find it now.
