Can you copy/paste some Event Log snippets showing what Indigo is doing? A batch update should just cycle once through all of the modules performing the sync. I've never heard of it getting stuck in a look before so if it is still occurring we'll need more details (event logs) that illustrate the problem so we can investigate.

Will send event log snippets tonight.

I did try a hardware reset on the 2413U last night. No change in behavior.
This is the log after doing another reset of the PLM and a re-install from the dmg file. The activity bar looks normal for a minute or two and then stays solidly green thereafter.

Just used the advanced option under configure interface.

Clicking stop sync produced the line in the log "batch sync canceled" but did not actually stop the displayed traffic.
In fact all of the buttons on that panel produce no response except the log entires.

I don't see anything in the log related to batch syncing. I do see the green bar congested or backed-up, but what makes you think this is related to batch syncing (or syncing modules at all)?

Try plugging the PowerLinc into different outlets using an extension cord. Does it work correctly in any other outlets on different circuits? Try several.

Will do tonight. But nothing has changed in the electrical environment where the PowerLinc is plugged in for at least a year. Very mysterious.

Electrical noise problems/issue can crop up from seemingly nowhere (we've seen tons of cases of this). It is likely that or a malfunctioning PowerLinc, so best to rule out a noise issue before getting a replacement.

I am an all Insteon network for the past 2 years. As of the past week I have been getting a bunch of errors such as "Error resending previous command (busy or unexpected command)", Error resending previous command (busy or unexpected command)
PowerLinc Unexpected command 02 62 (flushing)

This morning I found that the Insteon plugin was trying to restart and hung. From the forums it sounds like I may have congestion on my instead network. What tools can I use to establish where this congestion is? Looking at the options available and I can't find a debug option or any other tools that may point me in the right direction. The error's are not associated with any specific device so I am a bit lost. Any help would be appreciated.

NOTE-I have done a full re-sync on the powerlinc interface. Replace batt in devices I thought may be low (know idea if this was even needed), done full reboot of server, and power cycled the powerlinc. Not all in the order presented rather at different times trying to find the issue over the past few days.

A couple of things: first, make sure the PLM is plugged directly into a USB port on your Mac - often times, those errors can indicate that the Mac is having trouble communicating over USB to your PowerLinc. If it is plugged directly into a port on your Mac, unplug all other USB devices besides your keyboard and mouse and see if it gets better.

Next, check out the signal troubleshooting page for common causes and solutions to signal issues. The 3rd party Survey plugin may also help find congestion, though if the PowerLinc is in such a bad state it may not work either.

Sometimes, finding the problematic device will require shutting off whole circuits in the house until you can identify the circuit that's causing the problem. You can then start unplugging/disabling stuff that's plugged into that circuit until you find the problem. You can also try the

I attempted to install an RFXCOM, which included the need to install a USB serial driver. Now, the 2412U no longer works. It claims it cannot find the usbserial port. It will work for about five minutes, and then it says "port not found"

Any ideas on what I should do?

The driver for the PowerLinc and the RFXCOM are the same and are installed by default in Mavericks and later. Where/what did you install? I wonder if you installed an old version of the driver that doesn't work?
