Pretty much as the title says. Can I use either or, and are there any advantages / disadvantages to either?

I have used both with SQL Logger and both work equally well. However, the App version is about 10,000x easier to setup.... I believe that it requires that it run in User space, but since Indigo doesn't run as a daemon, no problem there. In short, go with the application version if you want to save yourself some headaches!
