[ANSWERED]X10 RF coupler

Any chance any Insteon device will pick up an x10 RF signal? I have a bunch of x10 remotes I'd like to use. Or am I stuck trying to find my old x10 RF transceiver?

Insteon remotes are so dang expensive.

Nothing that's easy-to-use or particularly reliable. If you're really set on using X10 remotes, I'd get a W800USB which is quite reliable and has good reception range.

Re: X10 RF coupler

Or a rfxcom trx/rec433 device which can pick up x10 and various other signal types (eg Oregon weather sensors)

Computer says no.

+1 on the W800USB. I extended it's range dramatically by finding the right antenna placement.
I've tried all types of hard button remotes but always come back to the simple X10 PalmPad's.
They're small, cheap, can be labeled and have 18 programmable buttons, (counting the dim and bright).

durosity:
The US X10 operates at 310MHz and can only be received by the RFXtrx315.
The European X10 operates at 433.92MHz and can be received by the RFXtrx433(E) and RFXrec433.
