New Font options!

Surely by this point there must be a way to program Indigo with some new web fonts??!

I would HAPPILY delete “Comic Sans” in favor of some more useful fonts that would actually help us design some more impressive looking Control Pages

Indigo’s stock font options are second-rate compared to the GUI of Luxone and some of the other HA systems that are out there now

I know some people are 100% practical and don’t care about Design aesthetic, but I for one would like to make sure my Home Automation controller looks as clean and modern as the rest of my house, and there’s no reason why we shouldn’t have the option to use some better / more current fonts

While I don't disagree that the font selection could expand far more, particularly with the use of Google fonts, you are not at all limited by the fonts if you get outside of the box. Room-O-Matic focuses on using Arial only in a few places, opting to use custom graphics with different fonts and I think the design aesthetic works pretty well.

So you can choose to use the Indigo built in stuff or you can roll your own, you certainly aren't forced to comply with what's there. I've seen some pretty amazing control pages here that I would stack up against any Luxone or Control4 on the market. You don't need to get motivated to create beautiful control pages any more than looking on this thread that has been going for years, fonts optional .
