Variables vor last server access and ip

I would like to add some actions that tell me when someone is accessing a controlpage or the server in general. Perfect would be to also see the IP of the visitor or maybe just an internal (192.168.x.x) and external flag.
This would allow to set different actions depending on pressing a button at home (via LAN) or from external. Or the possibility to show some values only to internal visitors and not on an externally viewed controlpage.
