Customisable default rate
Posted: Tue Dec 12, 2017 2:33 amIdea.. a settable default % for 'dimmer' devices that can be used on and set by triggers, action groups, etc. EG if i wanted my hallway light to come on at 50% during the night i could set a schedule to define 50% as its default, then in an trigger for motion being detected there it'd just be set to 'use default rate'.. then later same action but now a schedule has set it to 75%.. etc.
I know this can be done with python scripts and variables and conditions now.. it's just a faf.. particularly when you have lots of triggers and actions you want to change at different times. Having something just easily editable in the record would make things much easier to manage.
