Presence Indicator through Indigo Touch

This feature allows Indigo touch to push a lat/long to a virtual device or variable set in IndigoServer to allow for native geofencing and presence indicating. A setting on touch would allow throttling the intervals for battery purposes.

This would be similar to the features given by the FindMyStuff plugin but would rely on Indigo Touch rather than iCloud communications.

Another feature would indicate when IndigoTouch is within {X} feet of the IndigoServer physically.

In the mean time, I've had great success with Home Remote and you might also.

This is effectively what you're asking for, just in a separate app. It has native Indigo support, so you can point it at your server and it'll pull your Actions through and execute them based on location and other settings. It works well.

Along those lines I would love to see a native Apple Watch app that does presence detection as well. Every time my watch unlocks my computer I think about writing an app that then takes that and turns it into an Indigo action, then I remember "just how geeked out do I want to be" and "exactly how torqued do I want to be when the internet dies or the Indigo server doesn't respond fast enough" :D

My Modest Contributions to Indigo:

HomeKit Bridge | Device Extensions | Security Manager | LCD Creator | Room-O-Matic | Smart Dimmer | Scene Toggle | Powermiser | Homebridge Buddy

A watch app is also on the list, though probably a bit lower in priority than some other things.

Nice try, but you are about 20 hours too late. The New Year's champagne is already out of my system.
