Action Shortcuts on Widget Screen

I know there's a lot of discussion on Apple TV/iWatch integration which would be nice but the absolute best feature of the Bouncing Ball Home Remote App is the ability to pick up your IOS device , even while locked, swipe down and select a shortcut to an action from the widget/today screen. I subscribe to the view that everything where possible should be automated but for the quick remote actions that I still need, this is the most convenient so far. Unfortunately, the voice recognition still needs some work before it can be used practically.

Should priority not be given, ahead of Apple TV app/integration to add the widget support alongside Indigo Touch rather than relying on a separate paid app ? It would be a big step forward if there are no hurdles to doing so.
