Exchange email

I've just been setting up email to work with Indigo, and noticed it uses SMTP and POP.

It would be great if this could be enhanced (in due course) with support for connecting to Exchange mailboxes for send/receive.

Re: Exchange email

IMAP support is on the request list. Not sure if Microsoft uses IMAP (seems likely)...

Re: Exchange email

I was under the impression that exchange uses something called MAPI as a protocol.

Re: Exchange email

Exchange uses MAPI for communication with the thick Outlook client but supports all of the standard protocols as well (if they've been configured on the server)

Re: Exchange email

Ah, good point. I should know that because I manage a corporate exchange server - we just have the other protocols all turned off!

I'll have a play.
