Event Log

1. Search field in the window instead of a separate find dialog box. So it's always available and one less window to deal with. Minor, I know.

2. Filter by option. So one can filter the event log to make it easier to see what's going on.

3. Inset marker, just as the Console application has.

Re: Event Log

If we (Matt or Jay) could just name the files .log the console app would treat it as a log file and all features of the console app would be working..

Re: Event Log

Ditto for the Event Log Filter. Would be nice to be able to see just triggers... or just Action Groups... even just having things in different colors would help...

Not sure about using the Console, since I access the Indigo server remotely 99% of the time, since my server is headless...

Write a shell script, run nightly in the cron , or as a schedule, just after the Indigo log rollover, to add an alias to the new log file.

Like:
ln 2017-11-20\ Events 2017-11-20_Events.log

You’d have to calculate the appropriate file name, but that’s pretty simple.

I’d be happy to write the script if there is an interest.

Yep, definitely still on the feature request list.
