HTTP API for control page image use elsewhere?

I have a control page with a few refreshing images on it. I was using these images as sources in Blue Iris. (A control page image is now a "camera" in blue Iris.... a refreshing image inside a refreshing image :D ).

From Blue Iris, I was able to use
http://indigoURL:8176
user: me
password: my password
Generic.. JPEG image request
/refreshingimage?page=ImageForBI&id=4 <- Where "4" is the z-order number of the refreshing image on the control page.

I've tried a few things... like swapping out the page name for the pageID number
Created another API key, added it to the end ... &id=4?api-key=123456789

No dice.

Re: HTTP API for control page image use elsewhere?

Yeah, that wasn't a documented use of the old web pages and is no longer supported. It was a clever hack though... :D

[EDIT]: actually, it does work:

Code: Select all
/web/refreshingimage?page=PAGEID&id=ELEMENTID

Note, however, that this is still an undocumented use of control pages, and will likely break in the future.
