Button Hold Functionality? Any attention in Indigo 7?

Can't find a way to make it work. I've created a great control page with everything I need, except I'd like the ability to utilize a hold button function. For example, one of the things on my control page will show me all info/status on iTunes and then I can control it with the click buttons. I have song up/down buttons with the status of whats playing, but i'd love to have a feature where i could hold the button like on an iPod and it would fast forward the song, OR better yet, have a slide scale for the volume or song time. I know about the client Action feature, but that relies on the iTunes (for example) plugin to build in that feature with their app and then it can't be applied to other uses. I think the best thing would be some features in the Control Page builder where you could pick the resolution of your scale, and assign actions based on the position on the scale you pick. (eg. 75% volume). Right now, I'm muddling my way through creating 10 buttons for a scale of volume with 10 increments. The other feature I mentioned was the secondary button function for button hold.

Thanks for any input!

Unfortunately not currently possible. I was hoping for it in indigo 7 but from what little they've mentioned it'd seem control pages haven't been given much love. Roll on indigo 7.1...

Unlikely in initial 7.0 release, but this one is definitely on the request list (and is high on my personal-want list).

Hehe

I think control page upgrades are the thing I'm most looking forward to. Since Matt has a graphics software background I could imagine him excelling in this area... plus as we all know he's an exceptionally talented developer. (Think Jay will notice if I try to flatter Matt too?)
