Google Just Released 750 Icons using in Control Pages

Today, Google Design are open-sourcing 750 glyphs as part of the Material Design system icons pack. The system icons contain icons commonly used across different apps, such as icons used for media playback, communication, content editing, connectivity, and so on. They're equally useful when building for the web, Android or iOS.

That is a good idea. I've added to our documentation ToDo list to add some of these 3rd party image links. If you could find and copy/paste that great TV Channel icon link to this thread as well that would be helpful (the ToDo list item references this forum post for us to find the links). Thanks!

Didn't see this mentioned elsewhere, but I've also been using The Noun Project for my control panel icon needs. Thousands of public domain and CC-licensed icons in both vector and image formats, as well as native apps. Good for certain hard-to-find or unique icon needs since it consists of submissions from hundreds of icon designers.

Probably my favorite place to get free icons is over at FindIcons. Many thousands of public domain icons searchable. These days I mostly just make my own but when I need a quick and dirty stock icon I either go there or do a check at Google Images.
