Device State for Danfoss Valves

I have added some images for Danfoss TRV's and am trying to get the control page to select the correct image

I've added an image ( danfoss.png ) as the device state for selected TRV with attribute Heat Setpoint. The heuristic images are named danfoss+4.png , danfoss+5.png etc but they do not seem to change when viewing the control pages, they are acting like on/off devices. Indigo was looking for the +on image

undefined page requested "http://xxxx.:8176/images/controls/devices/danfoss+on.png"

Should your base image be named danfoss+.png :?:

Have you actually got an image called danfoss+.png setup (without any trailing numbers) because if you haven't I don't think the heuristics will work. :)

Re: Device State for Danfoss Valves

Just to follow up my previous post, from the documentation documentation on Image Selection Heuristics it says:
... To signify that an image should use these more complex image heuristics (described below), end the base file name with a ”+”: ImageName+.png. The ”+” at the end is a hint to the Indigo Web Server and Indigo Touch that it may need to contact the server for the right image. ...

Hope this helps :)

Yeah that did the trick, though i just needed the basemane without the + , but sorted now. Thanks again, need to read things a bit more closely ;)

Glad to hear you got it working :)

btw - I am working on the change for a generic TRV plugin (based on my Stella-Z plugin) and already have it controlling my Danfoss valve (as well as my Stella-Zs). I am trying to sort out Danfoss setpoint handling at the moment i.e. picking up if the setpoint is changed on the Danfoss.

Let me know if you want to try it when I have sorted this out - probably a few more days yet :)

Re: Device State for Danfoss Valves

There is ± 10 minutes (or more) difference between the Device state of the Danfoss in Indigo and the real device state of the Danfoss.
Because this command (from Indigo):
" Z-Wave sent "Radiator Bathroom" change heat setpoint to 10.0°"
(it was 21°)
and this received Z-Wave report from the Danfoss (10 minutes or more later);
" Z-Wave received "Radiator Badkamer" heat setpoint is 10.00 °C"

How can I catch the value of this command from Indigo;
sent "Radiator Bathroom" change heat setpoint to 10.0°
into a Variable?

Than the "real" device state displays 10 minutes earlier in Indigo :D

Regards,
John
