[SOLVED]: Sharing Control Page Issue

I have a rather simple CP that I'm trying to share with a friend.
I dragged it from my CP list to the desktop and tested it
by dragging it into the CP List on another local Indigo server.

That worked fine, but when I try to drag it to the CP list
on my friends server it bounces it back out.
I checked the permissions and it is set to read/write for all,
if that matters.

I got the CP file to him by using DropBox, maybe that corrupts
the file in some way?

Any ideas appreciated.

Just a follow up...the CP file after transferring to another machine was
showing as zero kb. I tried transferring it a number of times and finally
got one to show it's actual size, about 45 kb, which worked fine.

No idea what's going on that the file would lose it's data by
emailing or uploading to Dropbox etc.

I suspect it's the name that's given to the clipping file - it just grabs the first few characters of the text clipping and uses that for the filename. In this case, it's XML which probably causes some issues with dropbox. Just rename the clipping file once it's been created on your local Mac to something more descriptive and I suspect you won't have that issue.
