Pedestrian alert for backing out of driveway

Looking to build some alert based on the condition that a pedestrian is near the driveway for backing out of the driveway. I was thinking of a Hue motion sensor or possibly a camera. Issue with a camera is that it would need to be a ONVIF (for security spy) and 12vac so I can run it off my landscape wiring. I would then have the motions sensor (or camera) trigger a light that would blink that way I know that somebody is approach. Thoughts?

What about a ring doorbell? The Ring Pro has alerting capability to specify multiple types of Zones and can distinguish between a person and a package. I'm not sure how this would be reported in the existing plugin, though or if it would be real time enough to stop from backing into a pedestrian.

Thanks! Worth some investigation. Hopefully the make a battery or 12vac version.
