Z Stick Gen5

I recently had to move my Indigo to another Mac. After the move my Z Stick got damaged so I got a new Gen5 Z Stick. I am not having any luck getting my GE Z wave Fan control switches to sync with the new Z Stick. I'm following the steps for replacing a Z wave controller.

But the "Sync using node" never becomes available to select the node like on the other z wave devices. I've watched the event logs but I'm not seeing anything other than the exclusion process started and stopped.

Anybody had this issue or know of another process to try.
