Re: Doorbell sensor

I'm doubting it.

I almost bought it at Launch, but there's threads on the forum about missing features that really ought to have been in given they exist in Sky+

I don't know if they've released updates yet, but I'm watching my cash flow for a month or two before I spend anything more. (SkyQ is only £2 per month more for me, but there's the upfront install)

Re: Doorbell sensor

Yeah they'll probably add them over time. But they won't be getting a penny from me to get it ;)

Computer says no.

What missing features?
SkyQ is a rip off on standard pricing. I won't say no for £12 per month though!

Re: Doorbell sensor

Can't remember - it's a few months since.

I'd have coped with it, but mum would have struggled.

Re: Doorbell sensor

If only my broadband was a little better to actually make things like the on demand stuff usable!
Good write up though, looking forward to the install in 3 weeks ish.

Re: Doorbell sensor

Strange that your fibre connection is so poor.. any reason for such bad performance?

Re: Doorbell sensor

Distance from our cabinet. Hopefully BT are installing a new one closer to me next year. The local council is funding a rollout scheme which covers mine for an upgrade mid-2017.
I'd prefer to just go 4G but can't get any unlimited data plans

Re: Doorbell sensor

Ahh I see. Strange, I thought in those situations they didn't even let you get it. I suppose ADSL would be a lot worse though..

I've been battling with BT for months over my connection speeds.. its lower than their minimum values.. the run a line check, there's a problem, they send out an engineer who doesn't actually come to the house... and they close the ticket saying no fault! It's happened 6 times now! Argh!
