Are you upgrading to 2023.1?

Nest Thermostat via Home Assistant

Over the last few days I've been looking at using HA to provide details from my Nest Thermostats into Indigo, and stumbled across this.

I've set this up in HA and using Flying Divers Indigo / HA plugin I am now seeing my two Nest thermostats in Indigo
It requires some setting up with the Google Smart Device Management API https://developers.google.com/nest/device-access/api, which has a one off £5 charge. But once setup its easy to interface into Indigo.

I did have a thought that some of you clever people out there might be able to use the Google Smart Device Management API to produce a dedicated Indigo Plugin, but I have no clue how to go about that, but if someone can do it for HA then it must be possible.

Anyhow, just thought i'd share my find incase others are looking for a Nest interface after upgrading to 2023.1

I'm holding out until i can use the Broadlink IR and Tivo plugins, I spent way too many hours on control pages for my theater that are heavily dependent on them.

I am all moved over, having lost only the Plex plugin, which I wasn’t’ really using anyway.
