Re: No GUI After 7.1 Upgrade

It looks like there are some file/drive problems on your Mac. That particular file that is missing is definitely installed by the installer, so if it cannot be found now something has gone wrong. I'd suggest running First Aid from the Disk Utility app, rebooting the Mac, the re-downloading and running the Indigo installer.

Re: No GUI After 7.1 Upgrade

Looks like I'm having the same problem on 2 separate Macs - the one running the server and the client. I rebooted, then installed the x.1 update. GUI seems to be working again on client and server.

Albatros’s database is also subject to conflicting copies being synced to or from somewhere.

Re: No GUI After 7.1 Upgrade

Thanks all. Did a new fresh install and it is working again. Installing went very well and quickly as before it took almost 30 minutes. Maybe the last had to do with the use of Dropbox syncing.

I can't completely reproduce what went wrong but the second complete stop of working had to do with the indigo directory synched to Dropbox. Maybe this isn't smart to do I was think of as a regular backup of indigo. This never gave any problem as off yesterday Indigo stopped working completely. Not sure why but I was thinking of stopping the syncing of dropbox-indigo but I did and . then I deleted the dropbox files. Didn't read the message of dropbox that it would remove also the files on the mac. So that is the sync error in the log file.

But if the dropbox-indigo syncing also caused the problems of de slow installation and the not working of the GUI, i don't no.

For know no problems anymore.
