Nexia Help

So today they came and installed a new Air Conditioner and Furnace and replaced my Venstar thermostat with a Nexia 18-HD45D1-5 Thermostat that is supposed to be Z-Wave compatible. How can I add this / control it from Indigo?

Thanks!
Tim

Re: Nexia Help

If you already have a Z-Wave interface, then just add it as you would any other Z-Wave device.

Re: Nexia Help

Well that was easy! And the best part? No $9.99 per month fee! (Please don't switch to a subscription fee based software :-) )

One last question, the new thermostat has a humidity sensor, any way to use that or display it in Indigo?

Re: Nexia Help

Normally humidity automatically is added as a state for those thermostats. Press the Status Request button in the Main Window for the device, then copy/paste the Event Log results into a reply for me. Also open the device dialog, re-sync it, then copy/paste that log too.

NM. As soon as I posted I went back and saw the humidity value being displayed on my iPhone. What about outdoor temp? Can that be pulled in?
