7.0.4 is actually now available on the download page. However, there is no reason to download it if you are running 7.0.3. The only change was to update the apps and installer signing certificates to avoid expired warnings from macOS.

I’m just sitting here waiting for indigo 8. Where is it Matt. Do I need to move into your house and poke you with a stick to get a move on? Hmm?

Computer says no.

Indigo 8? We are going to skip straight to Indigo 11. Or Indigo 7.1. One of those two for sure though.

I was under the impression that version 7 of indigo would make it much easier for you to add support for new z-wave devices but so far there have been only three upgrades over the course of almost an entire year.
Can you please tell me what the roadmap for indigo looks like and the reason why one should pay for a subscription.

Yes ... a roadmap would be really nice, even if it is just a rough idea of things to come. It does seem that things have slowed down since the subscription model was introduced.

I’ve discussed this with Jay, my housemate, and he didn’t like the idea.. So while he was sleeping I pried this out from under his pillow:

Re: Looks like 7.0.4 is coming :-)

As a company policy we don't publish general road maps or discuss upcoming features, except in a few specific circumstances. Although this policy causes some strife, it isn't something we will change. We don't want to discuss our big features until they are at least ready for beta testing, and managing user expectations of smaller/medium features and their implementation priority isn't something we have the bandwidth to do. Our direction and priorities have to be pretty dynamic, and trying to outline what our goals/priorities are today will just cause future complaints/frustrations as things inevitability have to shift around. Basically, we don't want to publicly talk about what will be in Indigo until it is about to be released. We very much dislike vaporware and unfulfilled promises. We are honest and open about a lot on the forums here, but future big features and directions isn't something we will discuss.

As to our release schedule, we have indeed not had as many releases over the last few months as we had hoped. Our goal is to get into a more steady stream of releases. Sometimes the larger scale and architectural level work will impact our ability to get the incremental releases out. We have been working on some exciting things, but without breaking my policy rule above all I can say is they are still beyond the scope of what will be released in the near term future. In the mean time we'll continue to push for more incremental releases and providing the best support that we can for our users and outstanding development community.

Okay, I will say we are not developing Windigo. We actually did some work over 10 years ago in that direction (my background is in developing on both) but then came to our senses. That said, we are working on some cool stuff!

So air conditioner support? Hate to break it to you but you already kinda did that. Or were you expecting your Reality Distortion Field to make us oblivious to it? Yes.. yes that must be it.

When I first read this, I saw Wendigo. We make no comment on developing that.

And I reserve the right to send it to durosity's house for beta testing...

I’d be happy to.

Also is the Linux version going to be called Lindigo? :D

We probably would target specific Linux-based hardware, so maybe Indigo Pi or Raspberry Pindigo?
