How Do I install Homebridge?

I have spent days trying to find the right information to install homebridge but find incredible amounts of threads with users altering code sudo this and sudo that,

Is there a clear, more user friendly plugin or guide from start to finish to install hoembridge to ultimately allow iphone/Siri capability?

Hopefully the next major release of HB Buddy will make that process obsolete.

I will attempt it tonight. Not sure about the config file thing but will try.

I'm hoping to make headway on that this week. Maybe get lucky with a new BETA release in a few days.

so i was able to install homebridge buddy and enabled the EPS homebridge buddy plug-in. However, I cannot seem to find the screen where to configure the homebridge server?

Anyone kn ow where all the configure screens are?

I enabled it but can't see where to configue the server.
