Ramp rate based on time of day

I set the default brightness at night so lights won’t blind the user. I would also like to set the ramp rate. I found an old article that clearly explained how to use raw commands to set the default brightness of dimmers, but could not find the same info for ramp rate, specifically the information to put into each line.

If possible can someone post it?

Much appreciated,
Radjin~

Re: Ramp rate based on time of day

Take a look at this forum thread. That particular plugin may not be compatible with the latest Indigo release (if it hasn't been converted to Python 3), but you can still look at its source code to see the raw commands it uses. I think there are 3 different techniques for setting the ramp rate based on the module model and firmware version, unfortunately, so you might have to experiment around with different techniques.

Re: Ramp rate based on time of day

Thank you.

That’s what I need, something to show the raw commands. I found this for the default brightness:
, that helped a lot.

Be nice to have these as options in the UI so they can be scheduled.
