NOTE: Indigo 2.0.5 or greater, in tandem with the INSTEON PowerLinc V2 Controller 2414U is required to use the EZIO8SA
support wrote:The PowerLinc 2413 is okay to use with the EZIO8SA, but you also need the EZIO8SA's PLM (PowerLinc Modem). The EZIO8SA by itself doesn't have any INSTEON capability, so you connect it via a cable to its PLM to provide the INSTEON receiving/sending ability. So you will want to also buy the PLM that it comes with.

automaton wrote:I just had a (possibly) similar experience trying to sync links on my old EZIO6i last night. I haven't sync'ed it for awhile (and a few indigo versions ago), and now it won't recognize the EZIO6i. Can't define and sync or re-sync links. The firmware version reported on the Indigo device is 26 (i2 engine), but the log says 00 below during the linking sequence.

The EZIO40 should have a device type ID of 1800, not 810. I'm not sure why it is reporting the incorrect ID. Try factory resetting it to see if that gets it working.
