Setting Up a Synchrolinc

I installed a Synchrolinc on my washing machine and did what I thought was a successful calibration
but nothing shows in Indigo when I turn the machine on or off.
When I turn the machine on the Synchrolinc led turns green for a few secs, then back to red....but apparently
sends no signal as nothing shows in the event log.

Guessing I've missed something. Any help appreciated!

Edit: I did go into the config for it and made some changes that result in the green led staying on as long
as the machine is on and turns red when off, but still nothing reaching Indigo as to it's status.

Thanks,

Carl

Re: Setting Up a Synchrolinc

Maybe someone could just confirm that a Synchrolinc should be sending an on signal when it's led is green,
and an off when it's red?

Thanks,

Carl

Re: Setting Up a Synchrolinc

Sorry, I don't use them any more nor do I have one to test with. Perhaps a quick note to Smarthome for clarification on LED behavior?

Re: Setting Up a Synchrolinc

Also try Re-Syncing it and copy/paste the results of the sync. If it still doesn't work after a re-sync, then you can turn on Indigo's debug logging for Insteon to see if there are any commands coming into Indigo at all when it changes states. To turn that on the debug logging: Hold down SHIFT and OPTION when you select Interfaces->INSTEON/X10 Power Line->Configure... and you'll get the debugging dialog. Check the LLIO debug logging checkbox and Close the dialog.

Re: Setting Up a Synchrolinc

I dunno what it is but I can re-sync, reboot or whatever to no avail, but if Matt or Jay suggests it...it works.
Works great now.

Thanks,

Carl

Re: Setting Up a Synchrolinc

Looks like the link in the module that points back to the PowerLinc wasn't there or had become corrupt, so once Indigo re-wrote that (as part of the sync) it started working.

PowerLinc Linking - . . adding: PowerLinc responder for group 1 (replacing empty link at 00F8)
