Insteon Low Voltage Contact Closure

I had this working around back as a sensor on my mailbox.... For some reason it stopped working

From trouble shooting I had sort of decided that it was the basis 2450 that died as Indigo couldn't communicate with it.

I want through my extras. Found one that Indigo could synch with.

The trouble is in bench testing it (just using two wires going to the GND and SENSE. I am getting no change is status whether I short the wires or not

I am assuming tha I am screwing up the device settings.... any suggestions??

Re: Insteon Low Voltage Contact Closure

I'm assuming you're talking about an I/O Linc. When you touch the two wires together, is the green LED coming on?
