Hidden Door Sensor Group 3 Low Battery Keeps Triggering

I have a the Insteon Hidden Door Sensor. It works great, but all of a sudden I keep getting the Group 3 Low Battery trigger even when I put in a brand new battery. Is this a bad sensor or is there a way to reset it?

Re: Hidden Door Sensor Group 3 Low Battery Keeps Triggering

It may be bad or there may be some signal collisions happening periodically that make it look like it's sending out a group 3 when it's really sending something else. Collisions on sensors like this are unfortunately an issue with Insteon. Hard to tell which. I'm sure there's a reset procedure for it but I don't know what it is. Check on the smarthome site to see if they have an online pdf manual that has the reset procedure in it.
