What's the current version of the 2413U?

Indigo 7, Monterey (12.1) on a 2009 Mac Pro..

Re: Dying PowerLinc 2413U?

Thanks, Matt, for your suggestions last year. My area had a brownout and I thought my 2413U died. The green LED would light up but Indigo could not recognize it.

Leaving it unplugged for 10+ seconds and a factory reset did the trick. Now I am resyncing all the links. It is a pain but should be complete in <15 minutes.

I just completed a home remodel/addition and opted for Insteon dimmers and switches over Z-Wave. Now I am starting to rethink this choice--a brownout (not even a blackout!) during a rainstorm should not be catastrophic. The 2413U is really far too fragile as designed. But at least mine isn't dead.

(I have ordered another 2413U to keep as a not-so-hot spare in case my current one really does die.)

Re: Dying PowerLinc 2413U?

I just received my PowerLink 2412U from Amazon but the box had been previously opened. The seal was broken. I plugged it into my outlet and connected it to the USB port. The light on the side didn't turn on and I'm getting this error message from Indigo:

Here is my setup:

And it does show up in the Hardware Manager:

Do you think I received a dead device? I'm unsure since it shows up in the Hardware manager but the LED on the device itself doesn't light up.

Thanks!

I'd be suspicious of the device: both of my 2413U's have the LED lit green on the side (they are somewhat older though) when plugged in.

What OS version are you using?
