Monoprice Z-Wave Plus RGB Smart Bulb

I'm running Indigo 7.1 with a Aeon Labs DSA02203-ZWUS Z-Wave Z-Stick Series 2 USB Dongle fw/3.07

I just purchased 3 of these from Monoprice:

Z-Wave Plus RGB Smart Bulb

https://www.monoprice.com/product?c_id= ... 1&format=2

The Z-Stick will recognize it and I can add it to Indigo, but only as a "Dimmable Power Switch" and I can't change any of the color settings.

It says Indigo does not currently have a device definition for the is model, but when I click the button to submit, it just takes me to a blank browser page.

Is the problem here that my z-stick is too old(last update to it was in 2013) or that Indigo won't recognize it?

If I need to get a new z-wave interface, does anyone have any suggestions?

If it's an issue with Indigo not knowing about the device, are there any known workaround?

thanks,

-devros

What browser and OS version are you using? It should take you to a page that has a short form to fill out.

When you click on the button in Indigo and it opens in Chrome, copy/paste the URL from Chrome and paste it into Safari. Without further digging, I *think* that should work right (though it may not if it's a POST).

My guess is that Chrome has some rendering issue with that page.

It was just opening a blank window in Chrome(no URL) I tried changing my default browser to Safari and that seems to work. Will send in the info.

As far as my ancient Z-Stick goes, should I be looking to upgrade to something more modern?

I've got 2 Z-Stick Series 2's (on for development the other actually running my house) and have no issues with either. If you aren't having range issues, I wouldn't bother.

Do you have a guess on when this device might be fully supported? Not being able to change the colors is a huge inconvenience.

Thanks,

We'll see about getting beta (untested since we don't have one) control of the RGB functionality in soon.

Indigo 7.3 (and 7.3.1) are now available and have preliminary support for the MonoPrice RGB Smart Bulb (27482).
