"Error validating fields [...]", displayed half a second

Hi all,

I am trying to include a Merten 505119 battery-operated transmitter (single push button). It is recognised during inclusion, but I cannot sync it. When I press the sync button, I get this strange error message for about half a second (see screen shot), no idea what I should do with that. After that message, I invariably see that my device is asleep no matter when exactly I push the button.

What is this error message? How do I include this button?

Any thoughts appreciated :-)

Not really.... Tried all that, ad nauseam :-/
Maybe it's just a matter of luck with these things, and I should try again next week!

Best regards,

Mark

Re: "Error validating fields [...]", displayed half a secon

So the "Error validating fields" red text only shows for a second then automatically disappears? If so, that is just a UI glitch and can be ignored. I'm seeing that behavior here when I try to sync a module that isn't reachable or awake.

I think the module is just going to sleep too fast and the commands from Indigo to perform the sync are being ignored. Have you tried removing the battery and re-inserting it? Some modules stay awake for a while when they first power up.
