Indigo Domotics

Hi,

What´s the recommended z-wave controller for Indigo 7 ? (I haven't been running Indigo for a couple of years)

I got the Z-stick Gen5 and the Zwave.me UZB1. My current setup on OpenHab2 is running with the UZB1, so if the UZB1 is stable I guess that saves me some work.

I've got one of those Gen 5's and it has been without problem for me for 18 months now.

I am using a Z-stick Gen5 on my production system (macOS Sierra 10.12.6) and a Zwave.me UZB1 on my development system (macOS El Capitan 10.11.6) - both systems are running Indigo 7.1.1 - no problems with either system.

Most folks are using the Z-Stick, but now that Indigo supports NWI for doing remote inclusion I think the UZB1 should work fine. I know there are at least a handful of people using the UZB1.

I've activated the v7 trial now and are playing around with the UZB1. Works like a charm!

Now I remember how great it is to work with the Indigo Interface So... I'm coming back after some years with Homeseer and OpenHab2

Just out of curiosity, what was it about OpenHab that you didn't like?
