Associating a dual Qubino switch with a dual Merten pushbutt

Hi all,

I have an association puzzle, and no matter what I try, I do not get the desired behaviour.

I have one dual switch by Qubino, and one dual pushbutton by Merten. I want to control relay A with the left button on the Merten, and relay B with the right. How do I do this? If I set the Merten as the controlling device, I can set associations between the top/bottom side of both switches (through groups 1/2 and 3/4 respectively), but I can only switch both Qubino relays at the same time!

Hopefully I'm explaining the problem clearly but please let me know if I need to provide more data.

Any help greatly appreciated as I'm pulling my hair out on this one!

Mark

Best regards,

Mark

Hi there!

Just wondering, does anyone have am idea how to solve the above problem to associate a dual switch with a dual battery-operated controller?

Thanks!

Best regards,

Mark

Re: Associating a dual Qubino switch with a dual Merten push

I've had plenty of issues with the Qubino's in the past, one issue was that both outputs would switch on if I2 (I think) was switched. I eventually got it sorted. Does it work properly by switching I1 & I2 from a wall switch and also from Indigo? Maybe you've already proven that and it's more of an association problem.

Hi Colly,

Yes it is purely an association issue. The switches work fine from Indigo.

Cheers

Hi Mark,

To achieve something similar I create a Trigger to react to a button press. See screenshot of how it is set up - maybe this might work for you?

I tried, but my Merten pushbutton transmitter does not have any commands in the dropdown button. It's also very, very quiet in the z-wave log...

Best regards,
