Z-Wave BeNext Dimmer Socket

I stumbled across a handful of these at my local craiglist:

Z-Wave BeNext Dimmer Socket http://www.vesternet.com/z-wave-benext-dimmer-socket or at producer https://www.benext.eu/en/products/plug-in-dimmer/

I couldn't find it on the supported hardware list and wonder if its known under a different name? Not a single reference on the entire indigo-board seems almost unlikely!

Will it work unsupported?

Re: Z-Wave BeNext Dimmer Socket

Almost all basic dimmers (plug-in or socket) work in Indigo without any custom device definition, so it will likely work fine.

Re: Z-Wave BeNext Dimmer Socket

I am using many of them successfully around in my house. I really like them for being so slim.

In order to get dimmer level updates to Indigo when you control the dimmer remotely from Indigo or via an associated push button you need to associate group 2 of the dimmer to your node where your Z-Wave controller is (normally node 1).

You can of course control the on/off and dimming by the push button on the dimmer itself.

Thanks a lot. Really appreciate. I am waiting for getting five of them second-hand in the mail anytime soon.

Just a follow up to this product, yes they work well and I recommend them. Been running rock-solid for months.
