Enable Multi Channel Association

I need to activate multi channel association for my Z-Uno. How can I do this?

So if I need to set MCA for my device on address 87 I will do what exactly?

0x8E 0x01 ASSOCIATION_GROUP_INDEX 0x00 RECEIVING_NODE_ID RECEIVING_ENDPOINT_INDEX

Is that correct: 0x8E 0x01 0x00 0x87

Can you move the contents of that post over to this thread and delete the other post? That way we don't have 2 open threads on the same topic to maintain.

Re: Enable Multi Channel Association

I'm not sure. Are you trying to add a multi channel association to the Z-Uno so that it sends out an association command to the destination node? Can you detail what is the sending node (Z-Uno) and receiving node (??? your node address 87?).

Re: Enable Multi Channel Association

Z-UNO (87) should send it to Indigo.

Right now if I send two values from Z-UNO it only sends sensor 1 values. If Isend a status update request it sends all sensors values.

Re: Enable Multi Channel Association

I think you want something like this:

0x8E 0x01 ASSOCIATION_GROUP_INDEX 0x00 0x01 0x01

where ASSOCIATION_GROUP_INDEX is the group index on the Z-UNO for that particular sensor. So maybe a 0x01 or 0x02 for that value?

There is no 87 in the command because the command itself is sent to your Z-UNO (which is node 87). The command is telling the Z-UNO to add an association group back to the Z-Stick (the second to last 0x01 is the node ID for the Z-Stick).

Re: Enable Multi Channel Association

Sending 0x01 did the trick. Thanks!
