Logic Home Control - ZHC5010 Switch - z-wave

Z-Wave Switch ZHC5010 handling in Indigo.
Hi, Does anyone have a suggestion to how I am able to use the Logic Home Control Switch ZHC5010. I am looking for a way to utilize its 4 buttons to control Philips HUE Bulbs.

As this:
Push button 1= Power On
Hold button 1=Brigthen until released or max and then reverse
Double click button 1=Power Off
And so forth for the other Hue Lights that i connect to the button.

The english manual can be found on the following homepage

http://www.logichome.dk/index.php/10-su ... nformation

Or deeplink to the manual:

http://www.logichome.dk/plugins/content ... 7d5dc3e1cf

In Indigo I can see that the device is sending scenes that apply to each button with 3 functions. It looks like this:

Z-Wave received "016 - Relay Switch" scene 2
Z-Wave received "016 - Relay Switch" scene 770
Z-Wave received "016 - Relay Switch" scene 2
Z-Wave received "016 - Relay Switch" scene 2

Hi Jay, Now I have added some extra description on the post. Are you able to help me out. I am still not able to report on the Submit Device Information form. Is there anything else I can do?

I have written to Logic Home Control, but they just tell me that they know that Homeseer has support for ZHC5010 and they do not know anything about Indigo.

Regards, Jacob

Hi Jacob,

Thanks for the info – I think we have everything we need on our end. It is on the list to look into.

In the mean time, if you would like to create Triggers based on the incoming scene commands then take a look at this excellent plugin.

I have no idea what's going on with your Mac - we've had a few sporadic reports of this over the years, but it's always been because of bugs in specific browsers. We've never seen it on multiple browsers before. But as Matt said we have the information now so we'll get it added to the request list.

Are you running High Sierra by any chance?

Super. Thank you very much. Well it is also a learning experience. I am sitting and reading to find a way to do accomplish it.

Just to let you know about the browser issue. I changed the default browser to safari and tried to create the form again. When I press submit it returns with the message, that I have to enter information in the gray dimmed fields. But they are all filled with information. So again I cant submit the form.

Hi & thank you very much. Yes I have been looking into that. But i can´t make it work. I have been sitting for two hours trying to come up with something, but did only succeed with recognizing when I received what is called: Anything. Then I can have my Hue lamp power on or whatever I want. But just that because there is no variance.

Re: Logic Home Control - ZHC5010 Switch - z-wave

The plugin creates its own Trigger type. Are you choosing the type Z-Wave Scene Controller events from the popup control?

Re: Logic Home Control - ZHC5010 Switch - z-wave

Hi Matt,
I really do not see that. Under type there is no Z-Wave Scene Controller events at all. I am not able attach PDF as i get an error all the time informing me that pdf is not allowed, and also the png files that i would attach are to big. So i am just writing what the menu says:

1. Under triggers I choose New
2. In the new trigger window under triggers I choose Type and the pop up window says:
- Device State Changed
- Variable Changed
- email received etc.
***********
And lastly:
Cynical cache Event
Harmony hub event
But not a Z-Wave Scene Controller events

Should i try to uninstall the other events and see if they in some way is blocking for the Z-Wave Scene Controller events?

Hi Jacob.

I’m the author of Zwave Scene Controller.

What version are you running?

Can you disable and reenable the plugin from Plugins > Zwave Scene Controller, then see if log shows any failures?

(Window > Event Log)

Re: Logic Home Control - ZHC5010 Switch - z-wave

Something has gone completely wrong when you’ve installed the plugin.

Disable it in Indigo then delete it from the path above.

Re-download my plugin and double-click it to install fresh.

Re: Logic Home Control - ZHC5010 Switch - z-wave

Hi Again, This is not really working for me. I still get the same error.
When I download the file it ask me if I would like to store as a zip. I say yes. If i dont it tries to install and tells me it cannot.

So when I accept the file zip. it installs two files:

ZwaveSceneController.indigoPlogin (Spelled as written) Null KB
zwavescenecontroller.indigoplugin 20 KB

I cant run the file that is with capital letters. Only the one with small letter.

It says it will install and enable version 1.0.19 and I accept that but the file error persist.
