Neo Coolcam NAS-PD02Z New Z-wave PIR Motion Sensor

I have just received one of the Neo motion sensors from Ali-express today ( https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/NEO-COOLCAM-NAS-PD02Z-New-Z-wave-PIR-Motion-Sensor-Detector-Home-Automation-Alarm-System-Motion/1196544_32796863408.html?spm=2114.12010612.0.0.5bdadf47srQB6C ), it syncs and gives battery status but nothing else at present.

I have got it to trigger and reset via raw commands and submitted a Device Report so hopefully it will be included in an update soon.

I am impressed with the build quality as it feels solid and looks well manufactured.

When placed next to a Fibaro Motion Sensor (FGMS001) it triggered first in 5 walk tests from various positions.

I sure like those prices. Any idea if other Neo products are compatible with Indigo? Nothing listed on the devices page.

SmartThings refugee, so happy to be on Indigo. Monterey on a base M1 Mini w/Harmony Hub, Hue, DomoPad, Dynamic URL, Device Extensions, HomeKitLink, Grafana, Plex, uniFAP, Fantastic Weather, Nanoleaf, LED Simple Effects, Bond Home, Camect.

Re: Neo Coolcam NAS-PD02Z New Z-wave PIR Motion Sensor

I know that theNeo Coolcam NAS-DS01Z Z-wave Door Window Sensor is fully supported by Indigo, it slipped into the indigo Z-Wave.indigoPlugin recently but not announced (zwavedev_neo_doorwindowsensor.so).

I mentioned it yesterday ( http://forums.indigodomo.com/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=18907#p143956 ) as all the Neo range are so well priced compared to Fibaro/Aeon/Philio etc.

The original motion sensor with the three prong clamp I would imagine would also work with raw commands and the manual is well written and in plain English (not chinglish).

At present I don't need any new items but I may well get an EU Smart Power Plug Socket and a Wall Light Switch just to play with as they have a sale on and I am definitely buying another 12 door sensors and 6 motion sensors.

Anyone from the UK can at present in the sale (sale finishes 1 September) and using coupons and Topcashback and the Ali-Express IOS app which gives better prices than the desktop version buy

2 motion sensors for£28.63 and 6.3% from Topcashback. (- £1.80). = £13.41 each

3 door sensors for £32.96 and 6.3% from Topcashback (- £2.07) = £10.30 each

You need to order those amounts to get maximum discount so I will order 3 sets of 2x motion sensors and 4 sets of 3x door sensors, the cheapest way as carriage is free anyway!

I will update once I get the EU power plug and wall light switch.

Order placed on 17 August arrived today so that was 12 days with a Bank holiday, a lot less than their 20-40 day estimate

Well I have just received 3 new Neo devices which I will post separate posts about but I now have

NEO COOLCAM NAS-SC01Z Z-wave Wall Light Switch 2CH Gang Smart Remote Control Light Switch

@colly has also ordered the siren, wall switch and motion sensor so I await the details of the siren and wall switch if it is the single version.

The 2 PIR motion sensors seem to use the same electronics as both sync with the same details so should have the same Indigo definition file when it is added, now I use the raw data and it works fine.
The door/window sensor is already supported by Indigo

Now up at http://forums.indigodomo.com/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=19006
I expect it will be identical for the US version with US frequency and wallplate

Ooops - have just posted a request for support for the PIR sensor here:

Apologies for the duplication

Don't apologies, it looks like the two are the same but with different Model ID, Manufacturer and Application Version which could mean your sensor is not picked up as a Neo when my details are included.

Neo Coolcam NAS-PD02Z New Z-wave PIR Motion Sensor

Thanks for the response, Clive.

Am I correct in assuming that the Neo devices are not yet supported in Indigo, but that you have them working using raw ZWave commands?
Would you mind sharing a few hints as to how I go about doing that? I attempted a trigger based on ANY ZWave command from the device, but that didn't seem to work.
Thanks,

mclass

Re: Neo Coolcam NAS-PD02Z New Z-wave PIR Motion Sensor

Use "Match Raw Packets" and then click on write recent packets to log.
Find the device and paste the long string into match bytes.
I used two triggers and two variables - on and off and in the trigger action set the variable and sent some text to log for testing.
