LHC5020 Z-Wave DIN-rail module

Is this device going to work with indigo out of the box?

Re: LHC5020 Z-Wave DIN-rail module

Nice device!

I'd guess not, as it will need to be a factory device - the first input and output might work.

It does send Scene commands so once the device exists you can use the scene controller plugin to receive and respond to them if the full device profile isn't implemented yet, but I guess you need to configure some parameters (leading edge, trailing edge) before they work so swings and roundabouts.

That one will likely need a custom device definition added to Indigo. To do that we'll need to find the technical documentation for it and have a user that has one so they can test it. Before we add the definition it might be possible to control the relay outputs and create triggers based on the inputs. That will require using actions to send raw Z-Wave commands and triggers on raw incoming Z-Wave packets.

Actually there's enough English in there for Matt to have a good stab at it.

Maybe the parameter pages could do with translating though.
