Re: Aeonlabs Home Energy Monitor not syncing?

Hi Martin,

Thanks for the idea, I've set the interval to 120S unfortunately nothing changed, I don't get any updates.

I think I'll try a complete reset and add again.

Cheers

Re: Aeonlabs Home Energy Monitor not syncing?

I'm afraid I don't know why it won't send out the broadcasts. As part of your delete and re-add did you perform a full factory reset of the module? Most modules factory reset when you exclude them from the Z-Stick, but not all. I don't recall what the steps are for this module so you would need to check the manual to make sure it is being fully reset.

Re: Aeonlabs Home Energy Monitor not syncing?

@MarkZ: Could it be a firmware issue with the firmware version you have on your ZW095?

You seem to have:

Z-Wave Indigo Device "Garage Electric - Meter Total" Z-Wave Properties:
Indigo Z-Wave Version: 2.0.76
Node ID: 104
Model: Home Energy Monitor (ZW095)
Model ID: 0002005F
Manufacturer: Aeon Labs
Manufacturer ID: 0086
Protocol Version: 3.92
Application Version: 1.33

While @Gusten who has updated working at his configured interval of 120 seconds has the following firmware and app version:
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved manufacture and model names: Aeon Labs - 0086, Home Energy Monitor (ZW095) - 0002005F
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved protocol version 4.34, app version 1.00

With params 111, 112 and 113 set to for example 120 seconds, do you not even see any automatic updates in the debug log?
(I usually prefer to have for example 111 set to 60 seconds and the two others at longer intervals so that I do not get updates for all three groups at the same time.)

I have seen similar issues with other devices and manufacturers where broadcast messages not being sent out automatically due to firmware bug.

I would create a ticket at Aeotec help desk and mention that you do not get broadcast messages out from your device and let them know you have protocol version 3.92 and app version 1.33 and ask them if there is a firmware upgrade available.

Re: Aeonlabs Home Energy Monitor not syncing?

Hi

I'm pretty sure I actually did a reset its a case of holding the button pressed for ten seconds.

I've had 111 set to 120 seconds and 112 & 113 to 600 seconds - I'm single phase so only have one clamp.

I'll raise a ticket with Aeotec as you suggest.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers

Hi Mark,

I have the same problem. Did you get reaction from Aeotec?

Is your problem solved now?

Re: Aeonlabs Home Energy Monitor not syncing?

Indigo 7.1.1 is now available for download and now more completely supports this module (as describe above).
