Re: Still having trouble with Schlage BE369 in 7.0.3

What occurs when you try to control the lock from Indigo? How about when you have Indigo send it a status request?

Also try turning on the Z-Wave debug logging checkbox via the Interfaces->Z-Wave->Configure... menu item to see if there are any commands coming that aren't being shown (when you manually lock/unlock it).

Re: Still having trouble with Schlage BE369 in 7.0.3

When I do a status request with the door locked:
Code: Select all

If I click the lock button:
Code: Select all
Feb 7, 2017, 9:27:13 PM
   Z-Wave Debug                    SENT nonceRequest: 01 09 00 13 1E 02 98 40 25 1D 19

Z-Wave                          received "Front Door" status update is unlocked

This is correct for it to return to the unlocked state, as I did not turn the deadbolt knob while the lock was 'active'.

For this next case, I clicked the 'lock' button, and then ran over and turned the deadbolt handle. The door is locked, but this status isn't in the log.
Code: Select all
Feb 7, 2017, 9:28:15 PM

Re: Still having trouble with Schlage BE369 in 7.0.3

Based on the Event Log the module is sending the exact same command regardless of the lock/unlock state:

Z-Wave Debug RCVD requestLockStatus1: 01 0D 00 04 00 1E 07 62 03 00 00 00 FE FE FF
Z-Wave Debug . . requestLockStatus1: node 030, endpoint None, value 0

which decodes to the state being unlocked. In the case where you did go to the door and lock it, was there perhaps an additional command that was sent out later (maybe after several seconds)? Can you repeat the failure case steps but wait a couple of minutes after you physically lock the door, then copy/paste the Event Log results?

Lastly, try using the Interfaces->Z-Wave->Manage Associations... menu item and add an association for group #2 back to the Z-Stick / Indigo. Indigo only automatically adds an association to the first group, but perhaps having an association on the 2nd group will help. I tried to find technical details about what group #2 is for on the BE369, but didn't have any luck. Give it a try though then try the failure case again (with debug logging still on), and copy/paste the Event Log results into a reply for me.

Re: Still having trouble with Schlage BE369 in 7.0.3

Indigo 7.1.1 is now available for download and now automatically adds (on sync) an association for Group #2 for the BE369.
