Device State "Blank" (not all data transferred to Indigo)

Hey Folks,

while playing around I found another issue. My smoke sensor (Fibaro) and multi sensor 6 (Aeotec) are transferring on/off states for test alarm respectively motion but both are not transferring temperature or other states.

Maybe an range issue? Even though some status are transferred?

By talking about range. Can range issues easily being solved by just adding a DC-device between controller and device?

Any ideas?

Regards,
Marcus

Let it run for a day or so... sometimes it can take a while before the module broadcasts out sensor values.

Most plugin (or wired-in) modules support Z-Wave routing, so adding one between your Mac and the module can help with reliability.

Thx matt!

You were right. The multi sensor shows now all data correctly. However, the smoke sensor is still not showing the temperature.

Please find the debug log attached (sensor 014).

Re: Device State "Blank" (not all data transferred to Indigo

I need to see the debug logging messages from the sensor when it broadcasts out the temperature values. To turn on debug logging select the Interfaces->Z-Wave->Configure... menu item (then see the checkbox in that dialog). Let Indigo run then for a few hours (hopefully long enough it broadcasts out a value) then email us (support AT indigodomo.com) the log file and we'll see if it captured it.

Also, what specific model Fibaro smoke detector is this?

It's a Fibaro Smoke Sensor (FGSD-002). Will send you the log...

Re: Device State "Blank" (not all data transferred to Indigo

I have just installed a new Smoke Sensor (also Fibaro). After inclusion and adding it as a new device to Indigo it is not showing the temperature as well but it says:

Z-Wave error Device "023" - Smoke" does not support status request command
