Schlage BE469 Lock not reporting when locked manually

I have a couple of Schlage BE469 locks that I just added to Indigo. When they are unlocked manually, Indigo's status is updated. When they are locked manually, Indigo does not show any update (in logs or on the device). If I send a status request after they are locked manually, Indigo's status is updated correctly.

Am I missing something in Indigo or the locks to get the manual lock status updated automatically?

Turn on Zwave debugging (Interfaces > Zwave > Debugging somewhere)

Then lock/unlock the lock and copy/paste the log from that time.

I enabled debug logging.

There was some chatter from other devices. I waited a few seconds.

I manually unlocked the lock & confirmed that Indigo reflected the lock was unlocked.

I waited a couple of seconds & manually locked the door. Indigo did not see the door was locked. I then did a Send Status Request in Indigo and Indigo saw the lock was now locked.

Log file with debugging enabled is attached.
