Problem with multiple fibaro motion sensor fgms-001

Hi All,

Since a while I got a problem with multiple fibaro fgms-001 motion sensors.
They report LUX values the whole time.
Sometimes motion goes off and immediately on again.

See also images attached.

Please help!

Regards

Hi

Have you checked battery levels? Some weird issues (false motion detected, on/off/on/off cycles repeatedly etc.) happened with my sensors when running low on batteries...

I'm not sure what is wrong. I'd try excluding the problematic modules and re-including them in the Z-Wave controller. You'll need to resync them with their new node ID in Indigo after that.

You can also try increasing the Luminance Sensitivity setting to something much higher. I would try 30000 first just to see if you can get it to stop broadcasing out lux reports. If that works you can experiment with other (lower) values.

I had the same issue with one fibaro motion sensor, removed the battery for ten seconds, installed it again.. Never had any issues again..
Seems like it went into a bad state and needed a restart.
