Fibaro Door / Window ZW+ sensor FGK-10x

Mostly works, but detected as an old one ( FGK101 ), therefore wrong parameters applied and no temperature readings available.

http://manuals.fibaro.com/content/manua ... T-v2.0.pdf

Much more reliable in terms of inclusion process. Working distance is much better as well.

Thanks for the details – I've added it to the list!

Re: Fibaro Door / Window ZW+ sensor FGK-10x

Do you have a temperature sensor connected to it?

And have you excluded it/re-included it in the Z-Wave interface after you connected the temperature sensor?

If so, re-define/sync it in Indigo. The sync above isn't showing any multi-endpoints defined. That would be okay, but that means it works very differently than the old FGK-100. The manuals for both the old and new aren't clear at all, so I'm not sure if they operate differently in that (temperature sensor) regard or not.

Re: Fibaro Door / Window ZW+ sensor FGK-10x

Matt,

Tried quite a few times - connected sensor, re-inclusion, full reset and inclusion, etc.

Still no temperature sensor and readings.

The device is changed significantly (settings).

Re: Fibaro Door / Window ZW+ sensor FGK-10x

I understand Indigo isn't showing the sensor, but I'm still curious about seeing a define/sync Event Log after the temperature sensor is connected (and has been excluded/re-included with the Z-Wave interface). What I'm looking for is if the module then shows it supports the multi-endpoint command class (your Event Log above does not show that). Depending on if it does or not will impact how we create the device definition so the temperature value can be read.

Re: Fibaro Door / Window ZW+ sensor FGK-10x

Just added an FGK-10x sensor - all good
Just added a 2nd FGK-10x and the open/close and tamper dives are "swapped"

ie. if the door opens, the tamper device turns on

any suggestions please? I've added/removed several times but no joy

Re: Fibaro Door / Window ZW+ sensor FGK-10x

It's because of wrong parameters applied to the sensor (by Indigo) as it's recognised like a previous model.

Change parameters manually, it will work.

Re: Fibaro Door / Window ZW+ sensor FGK-10x

Matt,

It works on v7, however temp device is still not shown.

Looks like they changed the way... Tried two different FGK10x, as well as different DS18B20.

Those DS18B20 works fine on the previous Fibaro door sensor version.

Re: Fibaro Door / Window ZW+ sensor FGK-10x

Indigo 7.0.1 is now available and will hopefully create the temperature sensor device on next sync.

Re: Fibaro Door / Window ZW+ sensor FGK-10x

Update

Temperature readings / device available, but FGK-10x is not working as a door sensor.

There are notifications regarding tamper switch (which is wrong) - testing with a magnet but not touching the sensor.

" Z-Wave received "Entrance Door Sensor Tamper Switch" status update is off"

Re: Fibaro Door / Window ZW+ sensor FGK-10x

Wait, you want both the temperature sensor and the door sensor to work?

Can you turn on debug logging (Interfaces->Z-Wave->Configure) and open/close the door a few times, then copy/paste the log results for me?

Re: Fibaro Door / Window ZW+ sensor FGK-10x

Yep, indeed - nice to have both working :D

So Indigo detects "tamper" instead of open / close

Re: Fibaro Door / Window ZW+ sensor FGK-10x

Just to make sure I'm clear, are you saying: 1) tripping the reed (magnetic) sensor but Indigo detects that as tamper, or 2) reed does nothing but tamper works as it should?
