Aeotec Garage Door Controller ZW062

Hi Matt & Jay,

Ordered myself one of these and just wondering if you could add support for this controller.
The link to the manual: http://zwavecdn.s3.amazonaws.com/manual ... manual.pdf

Thanks.

Re: Aeotec Garage Door Controller ZW062

I've added it to our feature request list . I do have a lot of the gen5 Aeotec modules on my desk now, but not that one. If you get one then please submit the device information for it, and also copy/paste the Define/Sync results into a forum reply for me.

Re: Aeotec Garage Door Controller ZW062

Hi Matt,

I've added the device to my list and it comes up as an Entry Controller. Needless to say it only syncs and creates an entry as 'Entry Control'. No device options or controls.
I have submitted the device information. Here is the log from define/sync:

Z-Wave connected to Z-Wave 3.95 static controller interface on /dev/cu.usbmodem1a1271 (firmware 1.00)
Z-Wave found module included in controller with no matching device (missing or disabled): 035 - Entry Control

Yeah I need a garage controller that is supported by Indigo as well... I was thinking of doing a iTach with plugin but direct support of an actual purpose built garage controller would be great!

Re: Aeotec Garage Door Controller ZW062

I've got a similar garage door opener, the NuTone NGD00Z, that is getting the same results as the Aeotec. It syncs without error as an Entry Control device but does not allow for control of the door. Here is a copy of the sync log;

Z-Wave Syncing - started for device "Garage Door"
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved module neighbors list: 1, 6, 13
Z-Wave Syncing - requesting neighbor list update of "016 - Garage Door"
Z-Wave Syncing - neighbor list updated from 1, 6, 13 to 1, 5, 6, 13
Z-Wave Syncing - assigning return route to "016 - Garage Door"
Z-Wave Syncing - assigned return route
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved manufacture and model names: LinearLinc - 014F, Entry Control - 47443530
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved class hierarchy: Routing Slave : Entry Control : -- (04 : 40 : 07, base 00)
Z-Wave Syncing - retrieved command classes: 20v1 72v1 73v1 98v1 5Av1 5Ev1
Z-Wave Syncing - complete

Re: Aeotec Garage Door Controller ZW062

Hi Matt,

I've still got this controller sitting with me doing nothing. The dealer has kindly agreed to take it back. I would like to know if you have any plans in supporting this controller. I know you don't give out ETA's but just the fact that you are looking into it and that it might be soon  I could keep it for a while longer. Thanks.

Yes, it's definitely on our list to look at in a future version. No ETA on when... ;)

Re: Aeotec Garage Door Controller ZW062

We cannot give estimates as to when any specific modules will be supported. However, we are working on a major release of Indigo and Aeotec module support is high on the priority list.

Re: Aeotec Garage Door Controller ZW062

I just added a Plus one on another garage door controller - but I would switch to this on if it was supported.

so +1 here as well.

Re: Aeotec Garage Door Controller ZW062

And now I am an owner of this really cool garage door controller as well. :-)

I see that support in Indigo was requested already in August 2015 so I really hope that support for this device will be in Indigo 7.

Here is my device output:
Indigo Z-Wave Version: 1.0.365
Node ID: 142
Model: Unknown
Model ID: 0003003E
Manufacturer: Aeon Labs
Manufacturer ID: 0086
Protocol Version: 3.99
Application Version: 1.11
Model Definition Version: 0
Library Type: 3
Class Name: Entry Control
Class Hierarchy: 04 : 40 : 07
Command Class Base: 00
Command Versions: 20v1 25v1 86v1 70v1 71v1 72v1 73v1 98v1 59v1 7Av1 66v1 5Ev1 85v1
Multi-Endpoint Types: - none -
Multi-Endpoint Classes: - none -
Multi-Instance Counts: - none -
Features: routing, beaming
Neighbors: 2, 3, 11, 14, 15, 62, 66, 122

Config Values: - none -

Looks like the model ID and application version has changed compared to the device logs posted earlier in this thread.

Manual can for example be found at https://www.tronika.no/en/index.php?con ... chment=490
The engineering manual (with lots of good info) can be found at https://www.tronika.no/en/index.php?con ... chment=491
