Fibaro RGBW Channels Flipped

Really liking the Fibaro RGBW controller (US version). Still figuring out the ins and outs of the various options for control.

One thing that was unexpected was that the green and red channels on my unit are reversed compared to what Indigo thinks they should be. I'm not sure where the flip is happening. Small matter to flip the wires for my tests, but I thought I would see if anyone else had the same experience. Red is green and green is red. Anyone?

I have version 2.2 and a version 2.5 and the colors are correct. I can also confirm from your pic that the order of colors on the LED strip is similar to mine.

Thanks. It's marginally possible that the green and red wires are flipped underneath the heatshrink, but that doesn't seem likely.

I've had the same issue, I just flipped the wires. I just hope it doesn't get fixed :)

Re: Fibaro RGBW Channels Flipped

I had set up a new strip today that had no wires attached when it arrived. I stupidly assumed that the labels on the wire were correct. That was silly! So here's how I figured it out. I grounded each coloured wire to see which one was which. It wasn't the fibaro that was flipped, it was the strip. Don't trust the colour wires!

Re: Fibaro RGBW Channels Flipped

Hi all, I thought that the fibaro rgbw unit could handle four independent led strips but from looking at the picture I can't see how that would be the case, have I just got confused with the four inputs it supports and it does in fact just control one independent strip (or multiples connected together)?

The Fib controls one string of lights. The string can be short or long (limited by the power supply and the capacity of the Fib.) All the Fib does is connect negative to each color channel to get the various intensities and durations. There is one each of the color channels.
