Hi Matt

Sounds great. If new devices could be added without a new release of Indigo it would make the software really good. Hope this comes soon :)
Keep up the good work!

Mac Mini with Indigo 6 - Testing Indigo 7
18 Qubino dimmers
6 Fibaro dimmers (v2)
13 Fibaro Smoke Sensors
13 HeatIt floor thermostats
Also running Node Red and OpenHab2

We are no longer providing time estimates regarding individual features or hardware support – the estimates aren't likely to be accurate and it is too much work to manage.

We are, however, hard at work at adding new features and hardware support to Indigo.

I thought I'd bump this thread. It was started a year ago.

The new Fibaro Smoke Sensor requires a new device definition and will not be support until, at the earliest, Indigo 7. We won't be publishing an ETA, but it is a high priority.

Re: [ANSWERED]: New Fibaro Z-Wave Plus Smoke Sensor FGSD-002

add me on that list of waiting people sitting on a bunch of FGSD-002, please.

did anyone gather some experience whether those sensors could still be used, e.g. setup via setting parameters or associating them to each other? it would just be nice to have them at least working on their own (just as regular smoke sensors would do)...

any tipps welcome... :)

regards
elmar

hi there -- i'm new into HA, just started in our new home with indigo on a mac mini plus a bunch of dimmers, rgbw-controllers, roller shutters and (these) smoke sensors by fibaro. even the hue bridge could be convinced to connect. diving into control pages next... so even with this bummer on the smoke sensors i'm still pretty much convinced to be on the right track with indigo.

hi matt & jay -- great work on indigo, keep it up! 8)

Re: [ANSWERED]: New Fibaro Z-Wave Plus Smoke Sensor FGSD-002

waiting also. o man this takes forever and your standard answer to not provide time estimates for anything might help you keep calm, but it's just a disaster for the user. i now have 5 sets of window-stripes, 2 smoke sensors and so on sitting, waiting for you to get it done... please get over with 7 and give us our new devices. why a these vera guys uptodate on everything?

*happy indigo user thinking about leaving.*

Re: [ANSWERED]: New Fibaro Z-Wave Plus Smoke Sensor FGSD-002

This thread is old but I wanted to follow-up that Indigo 7.0 is now available (has been for a while). It adds supports for dozens of new Z-Wave devices, including the Fibaro Smoke Sensor (FGSD002).

Re: [ANSWERED]: New Fibaro Z-Wave Plus Smoke Sensor FGSD-002

Can anyone post their settings for the FGSD 002? I'm having trouble getting it to work properly. This is my settings, I would like to have an updated temperature once a day basically. Am I doing something wrong?

/Sam
